This weekend brings several FREE AAPI festivals to the Bay Area; our picks are the South Bay AAPI Festival in San Jose with lion dances and arts & crafts and the first-ever Reading Bug AAPI Festival in San Carlos with loads of authors and performances.

Rollercoaster fans can celebrate the Giant Dipper's 100th Anniversary in Santa Cruz with a fireworks party. Want to bring your furry friend for some fun this weekend? Head over to Novato for the grooviest dog event, Woofstock.
